Sometimes the platform just won’t do it. Then we build the app. Gatekeeper, our own age-verification app, is listed in the Shopify App Store. Getting there meant clearing Shopify’s app review: OAuth, compliance webhooks, security review, a DPA, a published subprocessor list. Most agencies selling Shopify work have never had to sit through that.
