HoneyWired
09Privacy Policy

The short version: we don’t track you.

Effective May 6, 2026. This site doesn’t run analytics, ad pixels, or behavioral tracking. The full policy is below for the lawyers.

Who We Are

This privacy policy applies to the website at honeywired.com (the “Site”), operated by HoneyWired LLC (“HoneyWired,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an independent advertising agency based in Chicago, Illinois. Questions about this policy can go to contact@honeywired.com.

What We Collect

Almost nothing. We don’t run web analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom), we don’t set advertising cookies, we don’t run tracking pixels, and we don’t share, sell, or rent any visitor data because we don’t collect it in the first place.

Like every web server, our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (timestamp, requesting IP address, requested URL, response status, user agent) for operational purposes such as diagnosing outages and blocking abuse. These logs are retained on a short rolling window by the hosting provider and are not used by HoneyWired for marketing, tracking, or profiling.

Cookies

HoneyWired does not set its own cookies. The Site does load fonts and stylesheets from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), which may result in your browser exchanging routine HTTP requests with Google’s servers. According to Google’s own documentation, the Google Fonts API does not set cookies and the requests do not include identifying information. If you’d rather not connect to Google’s font CDN, most browsers can be configured to block third-party requests.

If You Email Us

Some pages on the Site link to contact@honeywired.com or prompt you to send an email. When you choose to email us, your name, email address, and the contents of your message are received by our email provider and read by HoneyWired staff. We use that information only to reply to you, work on the project you’re asking about, or follow up on a conversation we already had with you. We don’t add you to a marketing list. If you’d like us to delete emails you’ve sent us, ask and we will.

Embedded Third-Party Content

Project case studies sometimes embed video from Vimeo or YouTube. When such an embed is on the page you’re viewing, your browser communicates directly with that third party and is subject to their privacy policy (Vimeo privacy, YouTube/Google privacy). HoneyWired doesn’t receive any data from those interactions.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law (e.g., the California Consumer Privacy Act, Illinois’ Personal Information Protection Act, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation) may give you rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information a business holds about you. Because HoneyWired does not maintain a database of visitor information, in most cases there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If we’ve corresponded with you by email and you’d like that correspondence purged, email contact@honeywired.com and we’ll do it.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Email sent to or from our addresses passes through standard email infrastructure with industry-typical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we believe the data we hold is minimal and the risk of consequential breach is low.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the Site changes or as the law evolves. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected here; visitors are encouraged to review the page periodically.
