Fair Weather Society is a poetic weather app that pairs live, location-based forecasts with atmospheric works of art. Each painting is meticulously chosen to reflect your current conditions—translating temperature, cloud cover, and rain into the evocative language of classic masterpieces.
The painting you see responds to real-time weather at your location—sunny, rainy, misty, windy, and more.
Stay informed with timely notifications for severe weather events, blending safety with the serenity of fine art.
Sunshine? Storms? There’s a symphony for that. Works by Brahms, Debussy, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky now score your weather.

Grant location access and the app fetches your local weather. That forecast determines which artwork is displayed—creating a seamless fusion of weather and art that feels personal and ever-changing.
Swipe right anywhere on the artwork to open the share sheet. Pick Story (9:16), Feed (4:5), or Wide (16:9), then tap Share to post or Save Image to add it to your Photos.
Swipe left on the painting to open Settings. From there you can toggle autoplay, randomize artists, control background music, manage your subscription, and review attributions.
Yes—both live in Settings. Autoplay cycles through the painting library; the music toggle controls atmospheric scores by Brahms, Debussy, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky. Silent mode and other apps' audio always take priority.
The free experience includes unobtrusive advertising. Subscribe in-app to instantly remove ads. Subscriptions auto-renew via your Apple ID—open Settings inside the app and tap Manage Subscription to review or cancel.
Push notifications surface official alerts for your area when conditions warrant. You can fine-tune their behavior in your device's Notification settings.
Some featured artworks include classical nudity from public-domain fine art (e.g., Gustav Klimt). All nudity is non-sexualized and presented for its aesthetic and historical value.
